Where Sanity Falls Short
Learning Curve: Sanity’s flexibility comes with complexity. Setting up a new project requires more upfront work than simpler platforms. Developers need to define schemas, configure the studio, and build the frontend integration.
Self-hosted Studio: The Sanity Studio runs as part of your project, not as a standalone web app. While this enables customization, it also means deployments and updates require developer involvement.
Asset Management: Image and file handling works but is not as polished as dedicated DAM solutions. Large media libraries may need additional tooling.

Where Contentful Struggles

Where Strapi Comes Up Short
